
The PKR vice-president was detained at the Dang Wangi police
station on Monday at 3.30pm, soon after appearing at the station to give her
statement on the "Kita Lawan" rally on Mar 7.

"The police haven't told us yet which parts of the
speech are seditious or whether the entire speech is seditious," PKR communications
director Fahmi Fadzil said when contacted.
Nurul Izzah detained under Section 4(1) of the Sedition Act.
Last Tuesday, Izzah read out Opposition Leader Datuk Seri
Anwar Ibrahim's speech in Parliament, where she spoke out against her father's
imprisonment for sodomy and allegedly attacked the judiciary.
