"You were elected to represent us, do your job!" they shouted.
A 62-year-old unemployed information technology manager said he came from Ohio to confront Republican John Boehner, the speaker of the House of Representatives.
- The Ohioan added that he wanted to see Congress "pass the jobs bill, to increase the taxes on the one percent corporations or individuals."
- On Monday night, a political action group in Washington known as “Our DC” launched several days of demonstrations at the National Mall, in the heart of the US capital.
- Along with other partner organizations, the group is hosting thousands of people from all over the country in an action called Take Back the Capitol.
