The times are a changing’, and indeed they have. For better or for worse, I am not sure, but what has changed is the way we look at money buy politics.
Call it what you may—political crisis, crisis of confidence, political tsunami, meltdown — erosion of public trust; is never good news. And rattled public conscience often lead to political turmoil and even shift in power.
So what is happening in our political stability, economy, and markets as well. Global politics have turned schizophrenic, economy turn bad. Banks are not lending and investor over-confidence has turned to no-confidence.

Money begets money, they say, and so does greed. I think greed has been the single biggest factor in driving interests. Now, greed again to cut losses and take immediate profits by selling short is not helping the cause.

Fundamentals, economic health, robust people developments and healthy credit, once the buzzwords of sound promises, have now been reduced to classroom theories of an ideal world. Good on paper, lost in greed.

As a result of greed , a political system and ideology had Subsided. Smeared by a complex so called ‘ Money Politic’. It is complex because it is not easily understood . It works like a shadow. like a magic, it creeps dimensionally into the heart of our political system.

In Malaysia, money politics had been frequently criticized during the elections with the different political parties accusing each other of engaging in money politics. However, in Malaysia, money politics also includes using money, gifts, and contracts to "buy" supporters or voters, usually during elections. UMNO is no spared.
Now a days It is often mention during the Umno divisional elections. Umno vice-president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin had also expressed regret over the increasing number of complaints about corruption and abuse of power that the party’s Disciplinary Board had received in the run up to the party election.

Describing the tally as “the worst” and shameful, he said the more than 900 complaints lodged so far was not only shameful to Umno but also affected the integrity of party members and resulted in a negative perception of the party.Muhyiddin said the perpetrators were willing to place the party’s integrity at risk purely for personal gain and called for an immediate stop to such practices in order to redeem the party’s image.
In Kedah, the Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA) is investigating nine high profile cases in Kedah involving politicians who allegedly gave delegates money during the Umno divisional elections.
ACA director Nooraziah Abdul Manaf said investigation was also conducted on several government-linked companies (GLC) after Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Azizan Abdul Razak exposed corruption in Sept and also last few weeks ago.

Nooraziah said the investigation involving the politicians was made after it received reports from Umno delegates after the divisional meetings last month. "ACA investigates all cases with corrupt elements. But in cases involving Umno politics, we find it hard to act as the complainants do not want to cooperate.” She added.

So far, I have never directly involved in money political struggle . And I don't plan to Invest my future career trough political money market. Not that I complained or what not, but I am lacking in an instrument of understanding the total concept and philosophy behind the whole money political system.
Then again, I felt safe investing in the principle that I could easily understand. My returns were far less profitable and my net worth still a joke. But my logic still remains — LESS I KNOW IS NOT A LOSS.
