Hundreds of homes have been destroyed as wildfires are threatening the second biggest city in the US state of Colorado.Thousands of people have been forced to flee their homes as dozens of fires continue to burn elsewhere in the state.
Firefighters, however, say that conditions on Thursday gave them their first chance to get ahead of the fires and control them.
