Malaysia Airlines has said a plane that was forced to turn back from
its designated flight path because of a landing gear malfunction has
landed safely in Kuala Lumpur.
Flight MH192 with 159 passengers and seven crew had been heading from
Kuala Lumpur to Bangalore when a problem was detected with the Boeing
737-800 aircraft's right-hand landing gear, the airline said.
Last month a Malaysian Airlines flight disappeared on a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing under unexplained circumstances.
The search for its presumed wreckage is still continuing in the
Indian Ocean where an unmanned submarine is continuing its search for
any signs of MH370.
