ELIMINATED AMERICAN IDOL SINGER RECEIVED MEDIC AFTER SHOW

LOS ANGELES, U.S.A - Pia Toscano says she expected to land in the bottom three on "American Idol" but felt overwhelmed when she was eliminated that she needed a little medical assistance.
The 22-year-old singer from New York City said Friday that she had a medic walk her offstage at the end of Thursday's show in Los Angeles. She says she needed help because she had a "little bit of a moment."
Toscano didn't offer details, but says she's fine after receiving aid - and the support of the show's judges.

• Judges Randy Jackson, Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez expressed shock on the air that the audience vote failed to keep Toscano in the competition.
• The songbird says the "American Idol" panel offered her love and support later.
• According to fan, America got it completely wrong! why is Pia going home? she literally is THE AMERICAN IDOL! she is the best singer on the show she has poise and confidence and she could possibly been the next Celine Whitney or Mariah Carey.
• Before her elimination, Pia was believed to be a major frontrunner and her elimination caused an uproar with regular viewers and celebrities alike.

Tom Hanks, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Minka Kelly, Ashton Kutcher, and even one-time “Idol” contestant-turned-Oscar-winner Jennifer Hudson were among the stars who expressed on Twitter their surprise over the news and their support for the ballad-loving singer.
“I’m shocked, I’m angry. I don’t even know what to say,” judge Jennifer Lopez said on Thursday evening. But Pia isn’t the first shocking elimination in “Idol” history.
