MUSLIMS STRUGGLE TO RECOVER FROM INDIA RIOTS

Twelve years after communal riots ravaged India’s western state of Gujarat, Muslims continue to face discrimination and violence. 

At least a thousand people, mainly Muslims, were killed by mobs of Hindus in one of the worst bouts of violence since the country's independence.
