50 PEOPLE ARRESTED FOR VARIOUS OFFENCES IN SINGAPORE

SINGAPORE - A total of 50 people were arrested for various offences in Geylang during an overnight joint operation that ended on Saturday. 
The suspects arrested comprise nine men and 41 women, aged between 19 and 56 years old. 
They are believed to be involved in vice, drug-related offences, immigration offenses and peddling of illegal sexual enhancement products. 
Enforcement officers from the Health Sciences Authority (HSA) also seized illegal sexual enhancement products with an estimated street value of almost $1 million. 
Investigations against the suspects are ongoing. 
The joint operation was led by Bedok Police Division and enforcement officers from the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) and HSA.
