MANILA Philippines - large portion of Metro Manila on Saturday submerged in floods as a result of heavy rains that fell overnight brought by Typhoon Sanba. Several roads and highways had been closed to traffic as the rains caused knee deep floods, stranding thousands of commuters on the way to work.
