ATHENS, Greece - Clashes between police and protesters heightened on Feb. 12, as Greek lawmakers are set to endorse a new and deeply unpopular austerity deal to secure a multi-billion-euro bailout and avert what Prime Minister Lucas Papademos warned would be "economic chaos."
