BEIJING, China - In Anhui Province, a man has filed an appeal for death Penalty over 116 Rapes, 91 Thefts, and 23 Robberies which he commit for more than 17 year period.
Liu Qingpeng, 46, has gone largely unchallenged by his victims because they are too humiliated to admit they had been raped, a police officer told the Xing’an Evening Post.
Dai's lawyer at his trial, Ming Tian, told the newspaper that he did not expect the appeal to be successful because there was no new evidence. He did not say what Dai was basing his appeal on.

- According to reports by the Fuyang City Intermediate People’s Court, Liu would don a mask and break into homes wielding a knife. He usually preyed on the wives of migrant workers who had gone to bigger cities for work, the report said. His victims ranged from young girls to women in their 50s and included a woman who was six months pregnant.
