PAKISTAN POLICE OFFICES ATTACKED


At least 11 people, including several police officers, have been killed in a series of attacks on security and police centers in Pakistan.
  • A suicide bomber hit his explosive-laden vehicle outside a police station in Kohat city in the northwestern region of Saddar on Thursday morning, killing at least eight people and wounding several others, police officials told Press TV.
  • Some police officers and civilians are among the dead, police said. The blast destroyed the police station's building.
  • In another incident in the eastern city of Lahore, gunmen attacked a Federal Investigation Agency regional headquarters and two police training centers.
  • At least five people, including three police officers were also killed in Lahore's attack, according to a police official.
