PALESTINE AGREE TO EASE-FIRE IN GAZA

LATEST BREAKING NEWS
GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip –Militant group, other Palestinian factions say they will give Israel a one-week cease-fire to remove its troops from the Gaza Strip
Hamas', speaking for the militant Palestinian factions, said on Syrian television that the cease-fire will give Israel time to withdraw and open all the border
An Israeli security chief told Cabinet ministers the military operation "is not over" and that the next few days would be critical to determining whether it would resume.
The military said no one was injured by more than a dozen militant rockets that struck southern Israel ahead of the announcement from deputy Hamas leader Moussa Abu Marzouk on Syrian television.
"We the Palestinian resistance factions declare a cease-fire from our side in Gaza and we confirm our stance that the enemy's troops must withdraw from Gaza within a week," Abou Marzouk said.
Meanwhile European leaders meet in Egypt on Sunday afternoon and discussed ending the crisis between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
Among the leaders who attended the meeting in Egypt are French President Nicolas Sarkozy, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi and Spanish Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, as well as UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, Turkish Prime Minister Recap Tayyip Erdogan and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.

  1. Hey, whats up?

I posted another post recently, and it's gender-identity oriented. Nothing political for the moment. Sigh.

Please do continue reading my blog. It may not be as hardcore as it was before, but I'm still speaking up for the oppressed and under represented.

  2. Hey to you too Izatie,
I am ok, except as you see I am kind of busy monitoring the war development in Gaza.

I try my best to visit your blog when ever appropriate.

However, It is not easy to recall thing that had been erased. Particularly when one is refrained from making comments and so forth. Sorry for that.

Lastly I wish you the very best of luck and happy new year 2009.
    Bye
