15 ROCKETS HIT SOUTHERN ISRAEL EARLY THURSDAY MORNING

Even as an Egyptian cease-fire initiative was being discussed in Cairo, Palestinians in the Gaza Strip fired at least 15 rockets at southern Israel on Thursday morning, according to Channel 2.
In the latest attacks, a Kassam rocket hit a house in Sderot causing extensive damage to the structure and to nearby parked cars. Another rocket landed near an educational institution in the city. No casualties were reported in the attacks.
Rocket warning sirens sounded in the city seconds before impact, and security forces scoured the area.
Seven rockets launched from the Strip landed in open areas in the Eshkol region. No casualties or damage were reported in the attacks.
Sirens also sounded in Beersheba, though there were no reports of rockets landing On Wednesday, at least 15 rockets were fired at Israel throughout the day. Source: JP
