AN UNLUCKY WELCOME

Kota Kinabalu: Imagine arriving safely on a flight, only to be run over by a taxi moments later while still in the airport premises.
This is what happened to two passengers at the Low Cost Carrier (LCC) Terminal 2 Airport, here, Wednesday.
A 38-year-old identified only as Tan and another in his 30s had just arrived on a flight from Tawau and were waiting near the taxi lane when the 11.20am incident occurred (pic).
Tan, who fell to the ground after being hit, was completely run over by the taxi, which later bumped into the rear of another taxi that was parked further up the lane.
He suffered cuts to the arms and legs while his friend sustained only a minor cut to one of his arms.
An ambulance, which arrived shortly after the incident, took the two West Malaysian victims to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for X-ray and treatment.
Sergeant Rozami, who was at the scene to investigate the case, said the taxi driver, 53, was not injured. Police are still investigating the cause.

  2. Salam kembali Sumandak,
