ANWAR IBRAHIM THE NOSTRADAMUS OF MALAYSIA ?

Once Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim had said that Malaysia ia a unique country. It won’t need any earthquake nor tsunami. What is needed according to him is the will of the people to defy BN from getting 2/3 majority in this coming 2008 general election; the BN government will crumble.
At that moment, some of my intellectual friends thought it was a joke. A fat bloody jokes. Totally non rational, absurd and impossible.
See what happened? Out of 222, Pakatan Rakyat controls 82 seats in the legislature. This shook the ruling National Front (BN)'s grip on governance for the first time in 40 years.
In spite of personal problems he had gone through, Anwar had predicted that it won't be long before he is elected a lawmaker in a by-election. He won a landslide victory over Permatang Pauh seat with ample majority of 15,671 votes.
That was then. Now, he came up with a belief that he would have enough support to topple Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi's government by September 16. According to his calculation, the move should be done before September 16. He said the date is significant as Malaysia celebrates “Malaysia Day”. Commemorating the establishment of the Malaysian federation in 1963 by joining the provinces of Malaya, Singapore, Sabah and Sarawak
He reported that Pakatan Rakyat needed just 30 members to gain a simple majority in parliament. "Many ruling party members of parliament know that the time for racial politics is over," said Anwar. He was confident that governing party members would defect to his side. However he wants the transition to be peaceful and democratic."

SABAH LAGI BAH
The BN Leaders from Sabah so far had continuously denied such rumors. However some Political Academician still believed that a move by leaders from here would be imminent.
I for one, don’t simply buy the predicament. Knowing the sentimen of our leaders in Sabah, this so called Arrangements of Mercy mentioned by Datuk Seri Anwar earlier, uptill now, has not been fully blessed and endorsed by the people ,The Voters.
However I don’t underestimated the will of the people in Peninsular. Who knows most of the 30’s could possibly come from over there. In that land of the sunshine anything could happen
Somehow I wish my intellectual friends are beside me to response to my Q and A, whether Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is qualified to be the Nostradamus of Malaysia ?
