KOTA KINABALU, Sabah, Malaysia - Foreign tourists are coming back to Sabah
after a decline immediately following several crime incidents, including
kidnappings by armed gunmen.
However, the government was taking the necessary steps to prevent such incidents from recurring.
According to sources the tourists, were once again confident in the level of security in the state.
Steps such as the setting up of the Eastern Sabah Security Command (Esscom) and curfew are among the efforts put in place to keep the state peaceful in the wake of events that took place two years ago.
