Five roasted chickens - that's the price demanded as
compensation by a man from his ex-girlfriend for breaking-up their relationship,
reported Nanyang Siang Pau.The man from Henan, China, met the woman in an Internet chat room. But she later decided to break up after claiming that he was stingy.
"He was okay when we first started our relationship. Then, he started asking me to have meals at his house instead of going out together.
"He said it was more hygienic to eat at home. I understand that.
"But I decided that enough was enough after he only
brought me a roasted chicken when he came over to my house. I felt
humiliated," the woman said.After the girl decided to break up, the man demanded that he be compensated with 10 roasted chickens.
The paper reported that the couple agreed to reduce the number to five roasted chickens after police intervened.
