Other than a controversial nude beach in Teluk Kampi, Penang, Malaysia, there are other popular places around the globe where people go to bare it all, as well.
The event in Penang, which included a relay race and body painting among others,
were collectively labelled by their organizers as “Penang Nude Sports
Games 2014”.
However, the event have run into trouble with the Malaysian police.

Among others, 5 Nude beaches are as follows;
1. Red Beach – Crete, Greece
Named after its rust-coloured sand, Red Beach is a tiny 300m spot
that offers crystal waters, seclusion, and of course, the freedom of
wearing nothing but your birthday suit.
The beach is located 20 minutes by foot away from the town of Matala, which is in Crete.
With its quaint cottages, charming ruins, and red cliffs, this is one
beach that is well worth visiting even if you are not into the whole
nude thing.
2. Samurai Beach – Port Stephens, Australia
If you thought the Penang Nude Sports Games 2014 was risque, wait till you hear about Samurai Beach’s annual Nude Olympics.
Held every November, the event sees participants compete in events like torch relay and surfing – all in the buff.
During the other 11 months of the year however, visitors spend their
time playing all sorts of casual beach sport or visiting the nearby
Tomaree National Park.
3. Wreck Beach – Vancouver, Canada
The first clothing-optional beach in Canada, and the largest in the
whole of North America, Wreck Beach is a 7.8km stretch of sand that
attracts visitors of all stripes including families.
Located 15 minutes away from downtown Vancouver, the beach takes a
bit of effort to get to, with would-be nudists having to climb 500
stairs down a steep cliff to access it.
That said, numerous activities, seaside vendors and the occasional
Wreck Beach Bare Buns Run (yes, a run in the nude) make this brazen
beach well worth checking out.
4. Praia do Pinho – Balneario Camboriu, Brazil
For a beach that celebrates the shedding of inhibitions, Praia do
Pinho is fairly strict. Being in the nude is compulsory here, and unless
you are accompanied by a female partner, or are a member of the
International Naturist Federation – a global nudist community of sorts –
you will not be able to gain entry.
However, with its bronze-coloured sand, cobalt blue waters and prime
views of the famous Cristo Luz, Praia do Pinho draws the crowds on a
daily basis.
5. Little Beach – Maui, HI
In a state that considers nude sunbathing illegal, Little Beach is
the deviant and has earned a reputation as Maui’s unofficial nude beach.
Dotted with volcanic rocks and driftwood, the beach’s awesome waves
attract many surfers; don’t be surprised to see one catching the waves
naked.
