HILARIOUS MISTRANSLATED SIGNS AROUND THE WORLD

Translation involves the careful dissection of a language to reveal the correct meaning behind the words.
To be able to do so, one needs to undergo years of training to understand the language and structure to be able to uncover the meaning behind the words.
Like solving a puzzle, translating from one language to another is not a task that anyone can execute.
In the following  gallery, we look at phrases and signs spotted around the world which have been erroneously translated from one language to another.
These signs were translated to provide information for people who are not native speakers of the local language.
However, instead of helping these foreigners, these signs have injected many laughs as the translated outcomes have turned instructional phrases into hilarious ones which sometimes make no sense.
After seeing these mistranslated signs, we might just better appreciate the skill of translation that we use in our everyday lives.
