BOGO CITY, Cebu, Philippine - While community was celebrating its yearly feast, a bank in Bogo City in Cebu province was burglarized early Friday morning.
But ASPAC Bank only lost 400 Pesos, about(USD $10) in cash taken from the cashier’s drawer after the burglars reportedly failed to open the vault.
Authorities suspect they might have run out of acetylene gas to completely break open the vault’s lock.
According to a report, police believe that the suspects' cutting torch ran out of gas. They said the suspects took advantage of the city's feast day on Thursday.
Police recovered two empty acetylene gas and cooking gas tanks, a hand drill, a saw and a scythe from the crime scene.
