IRAN "QUAKE" WAS A NUCLEAR BOMB TEST
Wednesday, November 05, 2008The Israel Insider source reports that two nuclear rockets are currently ready - and are intended for use against Israel in the coming months. If the report is correct, it would belie previous speculation that Iran would not begin nuclear testing until it had more nuclear-bomb production capability.
The geographical location of the test has several advantages. It is exposed to significant seismic activity, which could serve to mask nuclear tests; it is believed to be close to Iran's nuclear development facility; delivery and transport of material and personnel can be effected easily through the Hormuz Strait; and Iranian enemies would hesitate to bomb the area because that would threaten the flow of a substantial percentage of the world's oil.Reuters reports Thursday morning that Iran has begun building a line of naval bases along its southern coast and up to the Straits of Hormuz
ANWAR CONGRATULATED OBAMA
Wednesday, November 05, 2008
KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYISA:What started as an improbable dream and an audacious hope is now a reality. Barack Obama’s decisive victory signals a new chapter in the history of America. His call for unity and his promise to forge a new direction in the relationship between the United States and the rest of the world is welcomed by Malaysians. The support that President-elect Obama draws from across racial, religious and generational lines parallels the sentiments felt by Malaysians from all walks of life who earlier this year cast votes in vehement opposition to the failed policies of an incumbent regime.
His connection to the region and his empathy for the developing world, particularly Asia and Africa, give optimism and hope for greater cooperation and compassion, especially during this period of economic uncertainty.
Nations which have been at odds with the United States may now find opportunities to cooperate on issues of foreign policy, sustainable development and the environment. His administration also brings renewed prospects for engagement between the United States and Muslim countries.
Some of the most contentious issues of our time including the ongoing conflicts and confrontations in the Middle East require a commitment to diplomacy, a willingness to engage in a meaningful dialogue and a departure from the aggressive unilateralism witnessed in recent years.
In this we anticipate that President-elect Obama will show leadership where previous administrations have failed.Leaders are judged by the substance and execution of their policies and not the symbolism of their campaigns. We congratulate President-elect Obama and his Vice President-elect Joseph Biden on this auspicious occasion and wish them well in the movement for change and reform.

OBAMA BECOMES FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT IN LANDSLIDE
Wednesday, November 05, 2008
WASHINGTON – Barack Obama swept to victory as the nation's first black president Tuesday night in an electoral college landslide that overcame racial barriers as old as America itself. The son of a black father from Kenya and a white mother from Kansas, the Democratic senator from Illinois sealed his historic triumph by defeating Republican Sen. John McCain in a string of wins in hard-fought battleground states — Ohio, Florida, Virginia and Iowa.A huge crowd in Grant Park in Obama's home town of Chicago erupted in jubilation at the news of his victory. Some wept.McCain called his former rival to concede defeat — and the end of his own 10-year quest for the White House. "The American people have spoken, and spoken clearly," McCain told disappointed supporters in Arizona.Obama and his running mate, Sen. Joseph Biden of Delaware, will take their oaths of office as president and vice president on Jan. 20, 2009.Mr. Obama, 47, a first-term Democratic senator from Illinois, defeated Senator John McCain, Republican of Arizona, a former prisoner of war who was making his second bid for the presidency. Mr. McCain, 72, conceded the race in a speech to his supporters shortly after 11:15 p.m. Eastern time.CLOSING GUANTANAMO – THE HELL ON THE EARTH

PRELUDE (English Version)
Guantanamo is the antithesis of everything the U.S. is “supposed” to stand for. An act of hypocrites that the world has noticed.
GUANTANAMO A CENTER FOR TERRORISTS’ DETENTION
The U.S. government’s failure to close the Guantanamo Bay detention center for alleged terrorists continues to haunt and color their standing in the world. Barack Obama and John McCain both endorsed closing the facility. Even President George W. Bush has been known to utter such a heretical idea, and some of his top aides have expressed similar sentiments. In 2006, Bush said, “I’d like to close Guantanamo, but I also recognize that we’re holding some people that are darn dangerous, and that we better have a plan to deal with them in our courts.”

THE ABUSE OF PRISONERS AGAINST US CONSTITUTIONAL
Bush, his chief Cabinet officers and their underlings, and the military, from the Joint Chiefs to the actual warders on the ground, unquestionably bear responsibility for the abuse—the physical and mental abuse of prisoners and the abuse against US constitutional system. The Bush administration and the military initiated the situation, and they willingly, even enthusiastically, provided ideas and machinery that continue to keep the prison running. Reports of Guantanamo’s conditions have circulated widely on the Internet; again, we are informed with little thanks to the “mainstream” media. The supposedly ever-vigilant media simply have allowed the news to fade into the mists of history.

CONCLUSION
George W. Bush is apparently confident that history will vindicate him. He will be gone soon, and he has decided to pass the buck in time-honored fashion and saddle his successor with cleaning up his mess. He will not retreat, and he obviously will not make any decisions that might correct his policies or support criticism of them. His inaction on Guantanamo is emblematic. He fiddles while the global banking system cries for vigorous governmental action and an end to free-market nonsense. He fiddles while our international prestige—not to mention US reputation—goes up in smoke.

For my Guest Today, I had invited VIOLET, an International Blogger from a war-torn province of Mosul in Iraq. Like Izatie from new Zealand, let share what she has to say about her life in Mosul, Iraq.
“Oh Mosul ! that beloved city of Iraq . I can't live without this city guys!. I just can't. How can I even breathe an air except its air. How can I spend my morning without smelling the beautiful fragrance of flowers in my garden and without breathing the cool breeze in every spring morning in this city of two springs . yes, my friends. There are two springs (seasons) during the year in this beautiful city one after winter and the other nearly the autumn season .. ain't that obviously so nice!!??
As a student who has finished her high school from nearly three months or more, I was thinking what college I'm going to join?- I had made up my mind since childhood but that thinking was just for averment - . Here in Mosul there is one governmental university that called : University of Mosul, and other non-governmental universities.
Here as opposite of nearly the whole world, the governmental schools are better than non- governmental school. It has text books that used in the US, in England and even in Canada.
In fact, that was not the only thing. There are too many colleges are ignored here and are not taking the proper care like: the Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, and even Medicine and Pharmacy; When the Engineering is the most requested career in other countries like Malaysia which is one of the countries that Iraqis go to for getting jobs or escaping from the actual situation.

Doctors were threatened here , the best doctors of the world ever have left Iraq to find peace and to work for other countries while Iraq is the most deserved country that they must serve.
I heard of too many doctors and Iraqi scientists who had to leave Iraq for NO REASON at all and have to suffer the pain of being away from their homes. They are treasure… people!!! In other countries that they left to ,United Arab Emirates(UAE) for example, they are at the head of their career and no one can deny their competence.
Why do they have to leave Iraq ??!!!
Actually I was thinking of my future and I was feeling so depressed. Please tell me something that will give my hope back… I usually get to be in this situation .. the psychologists – in fact – I refer it to the routine… oh till when should I afford this tragedy?? please forgive me my friends .. people get to be depressed sometimes.. and this time I just can't hide it anymore!!
I wait for the next opportunity that makes me here again.. till that time all I can say: please pray for me and wish me a good luck. Tommorow, could mean nothing"

EPILOGUE
The old city of Mosul is on the west bank of the Tigris River. It is a maze of narrow alleyways filled with mud-brick homes and drab mosques. The majority of the city's Arab residents live on the west bank, and U.S. forces rarely enter the area because their armored vehicles cannot fit. Kurdish officials say that has made the western quarter a haven for Baathists and Islamic militants, who launched last month's rebellion from the old city.
Once a key trading post on the fabled Silk Road, Mosul linked Persia to the Syrian capital of Damascus and to ports along the Mediterranean. Like many great cities, Mosul straddles a river. It is a cosmopolitan city made up of Sunni Arabs, Kurds, Turkomen, Assyrian Christians and Yazidis.

TUJUH PELAJAR MALAYSIA DI AUSTRALIA LESAP
Friday, October 31, 2008SEVEN MALAYSIAN STUDENTS IN PERTH, AUSTRALIA MISSING (English Version)

Norzarifah, a missing student
Seven Malaysians who are studying at several Australian universities have done a vanishing act. Three of the students are with Curtin University of Technology, Perth, while the others are at other institutions, also in Perth.
All of them are sponsored by a government-linked company.Umno Youth social welfare secretariat chairman Datuk Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim found this out after their parents voiced their fears. "The students may have been demoralised into giving up their studies.
"In any case, we have contacted Wisma Putra, Interpol and the Malaysian students club in Australia for assistance."
He added that the secretariat was prepared to fly the parents to Australia to find and coax them back to the university and not jeopardise their future. One of the missing students is Norzarifah Kamarauzaman, 21, from Curtin, who had scored 9As in her Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia examination.
She went to Australia last year but has failed to contact her family since Oct 6 this year. Her parents, Kamarauzaman Nasir, 50, and Noraini Daud, 48, were present at a press conference at the secretariat's office yesterday.Noraini, a library assistant at Universiti Putra Malaysia, said Norzarifah had sent a short text message to her other daughter, Norzawani, on Sept 17, saying she had been hospitalised after consuming 50 tablets to relieve stress."Norzarifah's email account had also been terminated.
We lodged a report at the Kajang police station on Sept 23."We fear that Norzarifah may have deviated from Islam after befriending two Australian men when she was discharged from the hospital," said Noraini."Norzarifah had worked part-time as a cleaner with a company and quit studying last August after being promoted as a manager with an attractive income."

CHALLENGES IN THE VISION (English Version)
Facing the challenges in the future
The vision boosts development
Vision 2020A far view
As a result of present political turmoil and the possible financial freak, maybe we had forgotten feeling that once our nation had a vision, known as ‘Wawasan 2020’ or ‘Vision 2020’. A vision which was introduced by the former prime minister of Malaysia, Tun Mahathir Mohamad Mahathir during the tabling of the Sixth Malaysia Plan in 1991.
The vision calls for a self-sufficient industrial, Malaysian-centric developed nation, complete with an economy, in 2020 that will be eightfold stronger than the economy of the early 1990s.
The vision calls for a self-sufficient industrial, Malaysian-centric developed nation, complete with an economy, in 2020 that will be eightfold stronger than the economy of the early 1990s.
According to Tun Mahathir, Malaysia must overcome the nine challenges in order to turn the Vision 2020 into reality. The nine challenges are;
Challenge 1: To form a nation that stands as one.
Challenge 2: To produce a Malaysian community that has freedom, strength, and full of self confidence.
Challenge 3: To develop a mature democratic community.
Challenge 4: To form a community that has high morale, ethics and religious strength.
Challenge 5: To cultivate a community that is matured and tolerant.
Challenge 6: To form a progressive science community.
Challenge 7: To cultivate a community rich in values and loving culture.
Challenge 8: To ensure the formation of a community with a fair economy.
Challenge 9: To cultivate a prosperous community.
I wonder whether our vision are still in line with the obligation that once we agreed upon.

PARTNER IN PEACE

Yesterday, I received an email from my friend Rick Baxendale. While in USA, we were attending the same alternative course. My friend Rick is taking a theology course of some sort. Once awhile we talked and discussed the culture of my country, religion and politics.
Then, after graduating, I went back home to Malaysia, our relationship were cut off. However, we managed to communicate again this year through our college website . Surprisingly, he gave me his latest view on Islam . And this is what he had written to me;
Then, after graduating, I went back home to Malaysia, our relationship were cut off. However, we managed to communicate again this year through our college website . Surprisingly, he gave me his latest view on Islam . And this is what he had written to me;
“Now, I have an important news for you my friend. Last Friday I visited the mosque in Western Toledo, Ohio and was warmly welcomed. The best way to sum it up would be to say that it was a truly amazing experience. I got the opportunity to observe Friday prayers and see just what Islam is all about. At 12:30, an hour long sermon is delivered in Arabic.
Seeing as I can only say a few basic phrases in Arabic, I listened to the Arabic to English translation generously provided in the back. Afterwards, I got to sit down in the center of the mosque and talk with the Muslim community about how they felt about some of the things happening in the world today.
Just as I have always believed, they reaffirmed to me that Islam is a religion of peace and that true Muslims reject religious violence, whether it be against westerners or their own people.
I brought up the subject of Iraq and the religious violence that is happening over there, and they explained that there really is no difference between Sunni and Shia.
My hosts were Sunni, but they said that Shia families come in to pray on a regular basis, something the you're not going to hear about in the media too often.
I also talked about terrorism and their thoughts on groups like Al-Qaeda, Hamas, and Hezbollah. There answer was simple: It's political, meaning that many of these groups have a political ideology that has developed over the years.
It’s important to point out that there is nothing in the Koran that encourages religious violence, hatred, or attacking innocent people. My hosts also voiced their concerns about how many ignorant people, such as some conservative commentators, have stated that Islam is not a religion of peace and calls for the use of violence to bring about conversions.

When I was there, I would like to make absolutely clear that nowhere in the Masjid did I hear about anything like that.
Muslims are indeed peaceful people and want what we all want: peace and prosperity throughout the world. I shared with them my plans for becoming a writer and how I want to help make the world a better place, and they told me that they fully support my plans and believe it is a noble cause.
They encouraged me to write an op-ed about my experience and I plan to do just that. Islam is truly a beautiful and peaceful religion and I encourage anyone who wants to learn more about it to contact the local Muslim community. It is by understanding each other we can all work together to help make the world a better place. “

SAVING EARTH MEANS SAVING OUR LIFE (English Version)

Just for a while, let share something else, something more serious than politics. Let talks about saving our planet earth and save our life. Our planet is our god's grant ..so let's keep it safe and pure by peace and love.
GLOBAL WARMING
we are now in a period that it is very necessary to keep away anything that will damage our precious earth. We see that the caloric degree of the earth will heighten 4 degree in five years. And the scientists are two teams in this object :
1)the first says that it's a natural thing because the earth passes in cold and hot periods ,and the hot gases are one of reasons of the Thermal Imprisoning or Global Warming . the reason of heightening the ratio of these gases is the weather pollution and the latter caused by natural causes such as volcanoes ,the forests' fires , the organic polluters and sure the human's polluters :petrol and the forests diminishing .
2)the other team says that the cause of the Thermal Imprisoning is the sun's winds and the important cause of increasing these winds is CO2.
THE COURSE AND IMPACT OF CLOBAL WARMING

Of course the Thermal Imprisoning or Global Warming has results like the ice solution in the polar ,as a result, there will be floods in the coastal cities as it happened in Tsunami and Katrina.Imagine the earth just can't been lived!!! where will we go??? how should we live after that??? everybody must do anything to stop pollution ... to stop cutting the forests which are the main means of diminishing the ratio of CO2..and finally let’s clear our souls from anything that will arouse badly on this clear and beautiful earth ..like killing each other..So let's do anything to keep our precious planet as it was and as we'll keep it…
